We discovered a shower on the back deck hidden in a little hatch and its the best!!!

I know it looks very patriotic but it did feel good to hoist our compulsory flag in amongst the sea of Yankee flags.

Under Brahminy!

More life under Brahminy...

Saturday 28 December 2013

Hi All,

Well, I know that I haven't been very forthcoming with posts so far, but we have been overwhelmed with work on the boat and wifi is hard to find in the British Virgin Islands. Brahminy is beautiful and we are slowly making her into a home. So far the sail practice has been good with us reaching speeds hovering between 3 - 6 knots. TYrellius Bay has become our unofficial port while we do work and try to get the boat in shape. We found another lovely little anchoridge called Monkey Point which we have spent several nights. We have had a few adventures so far including dragging up a rock the size of a small car on the anchor chain and being interogated and yelled at by a large Caribbean Customs officer. I will be updating the blog overb the next week with photos and stories from when I arrived so stay tuned... :)
